Q: What does your job entail?
A: I work with clients like breweries, coffee shops, businesses, some bands, and some clothing brands to create their merchandise. I help them figure out the best order size for their budget, what types of garments are available, what decoration methods we can use, and what other cool things we could source to help diversify their product line.
Q: What do you love about working for SCP?
A: Everyone here (from front of house to back of house and anywhere in between) is a team player. They will do whatever needs to be done to hit a deadline and never lose a positive attitude. I also love that the SCP team does not back away from a challenge in any sense. From sourcing garments to complex decorations, to super custom promo items, to quick deadlines, etc., the SCP team rarely (if ever) says "no." It is so rewarding to tell your client "I can make that happen"... and then it ACTUALLY happens.
Q: How has SCP helped to further your career?
A: SCP has thrown me quite a few curveballs! Since I've been with SCP, I think I've become a better communicator, as well as more efficient and organized. I've learned so much more about the print industry and even have some base knowledge now on the music and e-commerce industries. I also feel like I've learned to stay optimistic when faced with a challenge.
Q: What are three words you would use to describe SCP?
A: Unique, supportive, GROWING :)
Q: What album do you have on repeat right now?
A: Mac Miller's Swimming, with a sprinkling of Last Podcast on the Left, My Fav Murder, and Dungeons & Daddies.
Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: Goodfellas
Q: What is your dream vacation?
A: Staying home and getting Taco Bell delivered (don't judge us homebodies!)
Q: Do you have any pets?
A: We have a dog (Archibald) and some fish!
Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
A: I spend most of my free time with my daughter, Avery, and boyfriend, Gavin. We like to watch movies and play video games together! We also like to cook, go to restaurants... or pretty much anything that includes a snack.
Q: What is the best advice you've ever been given?
A: "Eat a live frog first thing in the morning and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day." - Mark Twain OR "Don't get drunk and embarrass yourself" - THE Leslie Hopkins
